Movie Plot
Advait, a young introvert, visits Goa where he meets Sara, a free-spirited girl from London who has come to India for the first time to live a life unshackled, like a vagabond. Extreme opposites of each other, they both live it up together. All goes well until life turns upside down. Five years later, this incident circles back to SHO Agashe, vigilante killer cop and Michael Rodrigues, a righteous cop. What is the connection between Advait, Sara, Agashe, and Michael?
Movie Review
Aditya is impressed in the role of a man whose life goes through a great upheaval. He shows restraint and cunning in his performance. The physical changes of the actor add to the weight of all the kicks and punches he draws in the film. Disha Patani looks stunning and plays most of her roles, which is unlike any character she has played. The chemistry between the lead pair is contagious. Anil Kapoor, the ever-reliable, is in top form and stunts in another interesting performance. He crosses the fine line between being flamboyant and easily over-the-top. Kunal Kemmu is honest and surprised in equal parts.
Director Mohit Suri continues to hold the narrative for the most part. None of his characters in this film are one-sided, which makes him interesting. The film starts off well with a power-packed action scene and dives straight into the drama. What it lacks is a tight edit and dialogue that can enhance the narrative. While the plot has two interesting twists, they are not as big surprises as they should have been, which take away from its thrilling quotient. The music proves to be one of its strong points, especially the title track, which stays with you even after leaving the theater.
